Hello, my name is Chancer Reese. I write solid and useful articles that I feel help people to better understand the world around them.
I have been writing something or other since I turned in a story for my 5th grade English class. I have never stopped. I wrote small articles for the local newspapers in my hometown and liked newspaper writing so well that I graducated with a Journalism degree from Howard University in 1980.
After I graduated college, I spent the next 6 years in the US Army as a Signal officer (communications) in order to pay off those pesky student loans.
You would think, I wouldn’t get much writing done working with electronics all day but I did. By the time I left, almost every unit I had ever served with always had a brand-new SOP manual (Standard Operating Procedures) plus any other how-to manual or procedural guidebook I could update or develop.
After returning home, I worked in various industries until I could return to school to study computers. I graduated with an Information Technology degree in . I started writing articles on technology for myself, clients and coworkers.
After being downsized, I decided to put my writing and communication skills to use, and I have been an article writer ever since.
